Step-by-Step Instructions
Preheat the Oven:
Set your oven to 190 degrees C and prepare a baking sheet with parchment or a light greasing. This prevents sticking and helps crisp the bacon.
Season the Chicken:
Mix your chicken pieces thoroughly with salt black pepper garlic powder onion powder and smoked paprika. Every piece should have a thin even coating. This step infuses flavor deeply into the meat and sets the stage for an amazing crust.
Wrap with Bacon:
Take a strip of bacon and tightly wrap it around each piece of chicken. Overlap slightly and secure loose ends with a toothpick if needed. This keeps the bacon from slipping during baking.
Coat in Brown Sugar:
Pour brown sugar into a shallow dish and roll each bacon wrapped tender so the sugar adheres well. Press gently to create an even layer. Any leftover sugar can be sprinkled on top for even more caramelization.
Arrange and Drizzle:
Lay the prepared chicken pieces on your baking tray spaced apart so air can circulate. Lightly drizzle olive oil or melted butter over each piece. This guarantees a golden crispy exterior.
Bake and Flip:
Slide the tray into the oven and bake for twenty five to thirty minutes. About halfway through, flip the tenders using tongs. This promotes even browning and helps render the bacon so it crisps up.
Broil for Crispiness:
For the final touch switch to your oven broiler for two or three minutes. Keep a close eye so nothing burns. This step brings out caramel spots on the sugar and gives a satisfying crunch.
Serve and Garnish:
Serve the tenders piping hot, spooning any pan juices over the top. Sprinkle fresh chopped parsley over for a burst of color and flavor.

The way brown sugar bubbles around the bacon is my favorite kitchen aroma. It reminds me of family parties where everyone comes running to the kitchen as soon as these come out of the oven
