This is one of my hubby’s fave weeknight meals.


🍅 Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat the Oven
Set your oven to 375°F (190°C) to prepare for baking.

2️⃣ Cook the Sausage
In a large skillet, cook the ground Italian sausage over medium heat until browned and fully cooked. Drain off any excess fat.

3️⃣ Sauté the Vegetables
Add the sliced bell peppers and mushrooms to the skillet. Cook for about 5 minutes, or until they become tender and fragrant.

4️⃣ Mix in Sauce and Seasoning
Stir in the marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes (if using). Let everything simmer briefly so the flavors meld together.

5️⃣ Assemble the Bowls
Divide the sausage and vegetable mixture evenly among four oven-safe bowls or ramekins.

6️⃣ Add Cheese and Olives
Top each portion with shredded mozzarella cheese and sliced black olives.

7️⃣ Bake to Perfection
Place the bowls on a baking sheet and bake for 10–15 minutes, until the cheese is melted, bubbling, and slightly golden.

8️⃣ Garnish and Serve
Allow to cool for a couple of minutes, then top with fresh basil leaves. Serve warm and enjoy your crustless pizza creation!
