Hibiscus and Lemon Tea

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup dried  hibiscus flowers (or 2  hibiscus tea bags)
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 lemon, sliced
  • 1-2 tablespoons  honey (optional)
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Steep the hibiscus: Place the dried hibiscus flowers in a teapot or a heat-resistant cup. Pour in the boiling water and let it steep for 5-7 minutes.
  2. Strain and add lemon: Strain the tea into a cup or jug. Add sliced lemon to taste.
  3. Sweeten (optional): Add honey to taste, if desired.
  4. Serve: Serve the tea hot or chilled over ice.
