5. Add Toppings & Bake

  1. Brush the top with the beaten egg (for a golden crust).

  2. Bake for 25–30 minutes, until the bread is golden brown and firm.

  3. Remove from oven and brush the top with melted butter mixed with garlic powder and parsley for extra flavor.

Let it cool for 5–10 minutes before slicing.

6. Slice & Serve

  • Slice into thick rounds and serve warm.

  • Great with marinararanch, or spicy cheese sauce for dipping!

🧄 Flavor Variations

Try different “garbage” combos — the name just means everything delicious you’ve got in the fridge!
Here are a few ideas:

  • Buffalo Chicken Garbage Bread: Shredded chicken, hot sauce, ranch dressing, mozzarella.

  • Cheeseburger Garbage Bread: Ground beef, onions, cheddar, pickles, ketchup & mustard drizzle.

  • Breakfast Garbage Bread: Scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, and cheese.

  • BBQ Pulled Pork Bread: Pulled pork, BBQ sauce, red onion, and pepper jack cheese.

🍽️ Storage & Reheating

  • Fridge: Store leftovers wrapped in foil for up to 3 days.

  • Reheat: Warm in the oven at 175°C (350°F) for 10–15 minutes, or in the air fryer for 5 minutes.

  • Freeze: Wrap tightly in foil and freeze up to 2 months. Thaw before reheating.

Result: A golden, crispy loaf bursting with melty cheese, savory meat, and bold flavors — the ultimate “clean out the fridge” comfort food. 😋🔥
