Coffee Cake Made With Apple Pie Filling


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition, then stir in the vanilla.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk and coffee, starting and ending with the dry ingredients.
  6. Spread half of the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
  7. Layer the apple pie filling evenly over the first layer of batter.
  8. Pour the remaining batter on top and smooth gently to cover the filling.
  9. Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  10. Allow the cake to cool for about 15 minutes before cutting into slices.
  11. Optional: Sprinkle with powdered sugar or drizzle a simple glaze on top for extra sweetness.
