Coffee Cake Made With Apple Pie Filling
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside.
- In a large bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition, then stir in the vanilla.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the milk and coffee, starting and ending with the dry ingredients.
- Spread half of the batter evenly into the prepared pan.
- Layer the apple pie filling evenly over the first layer of batter.
- Pour the remaining batter on top and smooth gently to cover the filling.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool for about 15 minutes before cutting into slices.
- Optional: Sprinkle with powdered sugar or drizzle a simple glaze on top for extra sweetness.
