Instructions
1. Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Cream Butter & Cream Cheese
In a large bowl, beat together butter, cream cheese, and sugar until smooth and fluffy.
3. Add Egg & Vanilla
Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
4. Combine Dry Ingredients
In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture until a soft dough forms.
5. Fold in Caramel
Gently fold in caramel bits.
6. Scoop & Bake
Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough onto the baking sheet. Bake for 10–12 minutes, until edges are lightly golden.
7. Cool & Optional Drizzle
Let cookies cool slightly before transferring to a wire rack. Drizzle with extra caramel if desired.
