Instructions:
Mash cooked potatoes with butter, milk, salt, and pepper until creamy.
In a skillet, cook sausage with onion, garlic powder, and paprika until browned.
Stir in the bacon and set aside to cool slightly.
In a lined loaf pan, press half of the mashed potatoes into the bottom.
Add the sausage–bacon mixture in an even layer.
Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the top.
Cover with the remaining mashed potatoes and smooth the top.
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25–30 minutes, until hot and lightly golden.
Let cool slightly before slicing. Add parsley if you like.
