Bacon Cheeseburger Rice

  1. Brown the Beef
    In a large skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef and diced onion for about 5 minutes, until beef is browned and onion is soft.
  2. Drain & Season
    Drain excess fat. Stir in BBQ sauce, mustard, black pepper, and uncooked rice.
  3. Add Broth
    Pour in broth and mix well to combine.
  4. Add Cheese
    Sprinkle shredded cheddar evenly over the top.
  5. Simmer
    Cover and simmer for 5–7 minutes, until rice is tender and cheese is melted.
  6. Garnish & Serve
    Top with crispy bacon and green onions if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!
